Designed for fast-paced, high footfall locations, such as schools and hospitals, the Eco-UV Genie is quick and easy to use. Simply place your bottle or cup beneath the faucet and the automatic sensor operation will spring to life, using laminar flow to cleanly deliver water without splashback. The sensor will detect when the receptacle is removed, and the water stream will stop. If for any reason the sensor is obscured, the unit has a 20 second  automatic cut off period to ensure that no little accidents take place. There’s no need to touch the unit at any time, drastically reducing the chance of it becoming a contagion point for your organisation. Whether for COVID-19 or any of the other common bugs that are quick to pass through the school room or office – norovirus, flu or the simple cold. As an added precaution, the body of the unit has been coated with anti-bacterial protection.

As well as being touch-free, the Eco-UV Genie water bottle filler comes pre-installed with a Ultra-Blu UV Steriliser . UV sterilisation is the safest, most effective way to purify the water stream in any water cooler. It does not impact the taste or smell of the water, and yet eliminates 99.99% of all waterborne microorganisms, including mould, bacteria and viruses such as E. coli, cryptosporidium, giardia and legionella. It does this without extreme energy use, only working when the water dispenser is activated. And has a lifespan of at least 6,000 hours or 3 years before needing replacement. It’s worth noting that part replacement is covered by your service agreement if you rent this product from Love Water.

In addition to UV filtration, the Eco-UV Genie utilises activated carbon and patented ATS lead-removal media to filter the water, ensuring that any potentially harmful particles are removed before they reach the drinker. The unit is also tested to NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 standards for the reduction of chlorine and lead content.

As a plumbed water dispenser, the Eco-UV Genie Touch Free Refill Station 1500-80 is cost-effective and fast. It can fill up to 680 bottles (340 litres) every hour, while chilling 80 litres of water in the same amount of time. The design also helps to prevent water wastage, with GreensSpec™ technology helping the unit to use up to 60% less water (and electricity) during in operation. But we know that accidents do happen. That’s why a “turbo drain”, which can remove water up to eight times faster than similar units, as been integrated into the build. It allows for waste water to drain directly into the mains. An optional pump can also be fitted.

For safety, this model is fitted with RCD breakers, providing the best possible electrical protection and removing any risk of shocks in the unlikely event of power surges or malfunction.

While the internal mechanisms of the Eco-UV Genie are extremely high performance, the exterior has been designed for durability. Made from heavy duty fire resistant composite European Standard EN 438 and to ISO 4586 material, it is vandal-proof and very hardwearing.

The exterior can also be customised with your organisation’s branding or messaging. The unit requires periodical maintenance and if you have a service contract, Love Water will be responsible for this. And for complete flexibility, this bottle filler has been designed to accommodate both floor and wall mounting so you can install it in the most convenient way possible for your organisation.
